Jim Lyons introduced an Amendment to the Massachusetts Budget that would have totally defunded any future costs incurred by Common Core and PARCC. This was the most comprehensive chance that the taxpayers and parents of Massachusetts had to reatain our high quality standards. Each and every State Representative was given a hard copy of a list of every petition signer telling them to support Amendment 67.
